SBGF
Grants available to those businesses that pay business rates or are eligible for small business rates relief.

The Government has issue some details on the SBGF that is available to small businesses and that will be run by the Local Authority. The grant funding is split into two elements, although a business / property will only fall under one of the two grants.

Small Business Grant Fund (SBGF)
Those business that receive Small Business Rates Relief (SBRR) or Rural Rates Relief (RRR) will be eligible for a grant of £10,000.

       Eligibility   - Those businesses that have a rateable value up to £15,000
                        - Those businesses that were in receipt of SBRR or RRR on the 11th March 2020

Retail, Hospitality & Leisure Grant (RHLG)
Those businesses that fall within this scheme and have a rateable value of below £51,000 will be eligible for a grant of £25,000.

      Eligibility    - Those businesses that have a rateable value up to £51,000
                        - Those businesses that were in receipt of SBRR or RRR on the 11th March 2020

As yet there is no guidance as to how the scheme will operate or when grants will become available
